Dong Fang Hong 1 was China's first satellite to be launched into orbit. This was launched on the CZ-1 rocket on April 24th 1970. Our 1 meter tall model pictures the launch, complete with engineers and a display plaque to commemorate the day. One of the most detailed space models we've ever released, which even features a full interior build.
